Haras Abril's breeding program is the result of more than 18 years of genetic selection led by Román H. Giani. The ongoing incorporation of elite European sires, combined with mares from maternal bloodlines with proven sport performance, allows us to develop show jumpers with the potential to compete at the highest international level.

Every cross is the result of a rigorous analysis of genetics, functionality, and sport performance. Our reproduction program combines elite bloodlines with careful selection to develop show jumpers with the potential to compete at the highest international level.

Under the direction of Román Giani Jr. (Sport Director), the training program is designed to develop the sport potential of young horses through a progressive training system, preparing them to compete at the top level on the FEA circuit, in Grand Prix classes, and in national and international competitions.

The Haras Abril Annual Auction brings together, over three days, an exclusive selection of 18 lots of in-house genetics with verified pedigrees. The event is complemented by a CSI 1★ international competition and the FEA National Young Horse Championship, making it a landmark date for breeding and equestrian sport.

Innovation is one of Haras Abril's pillars. Our program integrates precision genetic selection, new reproductive biotechnologies, and the import of European embryos, allowing us to continuously incorporate the world's most advanced genetics. This approach allows us to develop show jumpers with the highest potential to compete at the top international level.

Haras Abril operates its own facility in Ocala, Florida, to support its horses and operate at the heart of show jumping in the United States.
