ESTADIA A CAMPO
Programa de recría a campo para potros en desarrollo, basado en el pastoreo en pasturas naturales y el manejo de manadas organizadas por edad y sexo, favoreciendo un crecimiento físico y conductual equilibrado.

ESTADÍA A BOX Y PIQUETE
Programa de alojamiento que combina boxes individuales de primer nivel con salidas diarias a piquetes especialmente acondicionados. Este sistema promueve el bienestar, la condición física y el desarrollo natural del caballo, garantizando un manejo integral, supervisión profesional y los más altos estándares de cuidado que distinguen a Haras Abril.

ESTADÍA TRAINING A BOX
Programa de entrenamiento y desarrollo deportivo para caballos jóvenes, diseñado para prepararlos y proyectarlos hacia el Circuito de Caballos Jóvenes de la FEA y las principales competencias del calendario ecuestre. Cada ejemplar recibe un plan de trabajo personalizado, con seguimiento permanente y la experiencia del mismo equipo que forma los caballos nacidos en Haras Abril.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Jumping Arenas
Three international-standard jumping arenas, designed for the training, preparation, and competition of high-performance sport horses. Fitted with the OTTO Sport footing system, a world leader in technology, elasticity, stability, and outstanding drainage capacity, providing a consistent surface that optimizes sport performance and minimizes impact on the horse's legs. Its composition guarantees optimal working conditions 365 days a year, even in adverse weather. Complemented by regulation competition obstacles and infrastructure specifically designed for show jumping practice, the arenas offer the highest level of safety, functionality, and performance for horse-and-rider combinations, meeting the highest national and international standards.
47 Individual Stalls
International-standard stalls, covered and ventilated, with non-slip rubber flooring and monitoring cameras. Horses rest in their stalls overnight and move in individual paddocks by day, fitted with heavy-duty rubber flooring and a fast-drying drainage system, ensuring year-round use regardless of weather conditions.
Reproduction Center
A highly advanced equine reproduction center, designed to apply the most sophisticated reproductive biotechnologies aimed at maximizing the genetic and reproductive potential of high-performance sport horses. The center features specialized infrastructure and equipment for comprehensive assisted reproduction programs, including artificial insemination, embryo transfer, semen collection, evaluation, and processing, as well as semen cryopreservation (freezing) under strict quality protocols. The center also transfers embryos obtained through ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) technology, one of the most advanced assisted reproduction techniques for producing horses of high genetic value. Together, these technologies optimize reproductive efficiency, preserve elite genetic lines, and strengthen breeding programs under the highest scientific and equine reproductive medicine standards.
Pasture
The establishment has extensive land dedicated to extensive breeding management, organized into paddocks with specially planted pastures and a planned rotation program that ensures a continuous supply of high-quality forage year-round. This system is home to foals, mares with foals at foot, pregnant mares, weanlings, and open mares, grouped according to their physiological stage, age, and nutritional needs. Regular rotation between pastures supports animal welfare, optimizes forage use, and helps maintain proper body condition. The nutrition program is complemented by specific feed supplementation for each category, formulated according to age, reproductive status, and each horse's growth or production requirements. This comprehensive management ensures healthy development, optimal health and reproductive status, and proper preparation of the horses for the different stages of their sport and breeding lives.
Annual Auction
The Haras Abril Annual Auction is one of the region's leading platforms for marketing high-performance show jumpers, offering horses carefully selected for their genetics, sport aptitude, and international potential. To provide a full-service experience for buyers in Argentina and abroad, Haras Abril offers a SENASA-approved quarantine service, specialized veterinary service for international health certification, and a customs broker, allowing all the health, administrative, and logistics processes required for exporting horses to be handled in one place. Once a purchase is completed at auction, the horse remains at Haras Abril—with no need to be moved to another facility—where it completes the full official quarantine period, veterinary checks, health testing, and export preparation. Once these procedures are complete, the horse is transported directly from Haras Abril for shipment to the buyer's country of residence. This system ensures continuity of care, minimizes stress on the horse, streamlines operational timelines, and ensures compliance with international health and customs requirements through to arrival in the destination country.
